Volere Showcases at Restaurant 2010


What a two days, the show was buzzing with over 5000 cafe and restaurant owners from all over Sydney and even Victoria.

This was the first time that Volere was showcased at any event and it was well received by all.

One person said “It’s the whole package from the Coffee bag, Tea products and equipment- Volere makes a statement of Class”.

This trade only event is dedicated to everyone involved in the running of a restaurant or café business, from the business owner to the front of house manager. Anyone who makes purchasing decisions would benefit from attending this trade show.

Thou shalt join the coffee cult

Don't want to be taken for a tourist? Then don't be heard ordering a latte after lunch, writes Lee Marshall..

I once met an Italian who didn't drink coffee. He made light of the fact but you could see he was tired of having to explain his disability every time some new acquaintance uttered the standard Italian greeting: "Prendiamo un caffe?" ("Fancy a coffee?"). His breezy but faintly passive-aggressive manner concealed, I suspect, deep pools of self-doubt and underground lakes of wounded masculine pride. Vegetarians develop the same nonchalant, yet haunted, look when travelling in places such as Mongolia, where meat comes with a side-dish of meat. But this Italian guy wasn't a visitor, he was local. He was the Mongolian vegetarian.

Volere Espresso Wins Silver Medal


Volere Espresso are very proud to announce winning a silver medal at the recent Sydney Royal Coffee Competition. The Sydney Royal Coffee Competition is one of Australia's premier coffee competitions and is held in very high regard by cafe owners and coffee connoisseurs alike.

Volere Espresso won a silver medal in the Class 1 Espresso.

Leo Stanners, Volere Marketing Manager said, "We are extremely happy and very proud to have won this award, it's great to see all the hard work put into developing Volere Espresso pay off. The competition at the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show is always fierce, with the all the top coffee companies from around the country competing.

 To win against such competition in Volere's first Sydney Royal Coffee Competition is a major feat.
